New Patients
Your Initial Session
To get you off to a successful start as a new patient at Jasmine Blossom, your first appointment will be one hour. This Initial Session will include:
- A thorough consultation and health history
- An examination appropriate to the services that you are interested in and/or the services that Dr. Molly recommends to help you achieve your wellness goals
- Your first treatment, and
- Home care and follow up recommendations
Upon booking your Initial Session, you will be emailed a link to complete your intake paperwork. Please complete this paperwork prior to your appointment. Dr. Molly assesses what you include in your intake carefully, and the longer they have to review it prior to your appointment, the more time you will have to talk through any additional questions or concerns and to receive assessment and treatment.
Your second session will be at least 40 minutes during which we will review what Dr. Molly found during the initial examination and treatment, assess your response to the first treatment, cocreate a plan to help you achieve your wellness goals based on that information, and get you your second treatment. (Please note: if multiple treatment modalities or modalities that have longer session length recommendations are indicated in the first session, the recommendation for the second session might be longer than 40 minutes. Dr. Molly will give you personalized recommendations for following up after your Initial Session.)

FAQs
(Frequently Asked Questions)
Do you take insurance?
No. In order to give you the best care possible and to keep my own operating costs low so that I don’t have to pass along additional expenses to you, I have opted for a self-pay model.
I am able to give you an itemized receipt to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement, but whether and how much you may receive back from your insurance company depends a great deal on the carrier and plan. Sadly, I cannot guarantee any reimbursement by your insurance company.
What if I don’t like having my neck or back cracked? Can I still get care?
Yes! Absolutely! I have lots of different tools in my toolbox to help you achieve your wellness goals, and I specialize in meeting people where they are. In fact, if a certain adjusting style makes you anxious or tense, that is counter productive to what we are trying to achieve. Lasting healing can only happen when you are in the “rest and digest” part of your nervous system. If you are in “fight or flight” because you are braced against something that doesn’t feel right, ultimately that treatment will not be as effective as if we changed tactics and used a style of treatment that feels safe, gentle, and allows you to feel relaxed and present in your body. I will always communicate with you as we get to know each other and I get to know your system, and I highly encourage your ongoing feedback and open communication as to how things are landing for you in order for me to offer the most effective person-centered care.
How long until I feel better?
How long it will take until you feel better is hard to say for sure. There are too many factors and variables to predict how any one person will respond to care, and I have a strong commitment to honesty and integrity, so I won’t just tell you what you want to hear.
What I can promise is that I will check in with you at every step along the way and adjust your care plan, including recommending exercises, stretches, nutritional changes, supplementation, lifestyle changes, different care tactics, additional treatment styles, and various other home care, so that you are getting the most effective possible treatment. If nothing is changing or improving, we will exhaust our options until we find what works, and you’ll never get the same treatment twice.
Do I have to keep coming back?
My goal is to work myself out of a job — I want you to be able to live your best and most vibrant life without being reliant on receiving constant care to keep you functional. At the same time, most problems started a long time before you felt the pain, and the underlying patterns can often take some consistency in order to fully shift. Also, our culture often demands that we do repetitive daily tasks that our bodies did not evolve to do (driving, computer work, texting, sports, just to name a few) and that can take a toll as well. I like to get people to where they can come in occasionally for a tune up, like getting your teeth cleaned or your oil changed. Often enough not to have pain in between appointments, but not so often that you feel like you have to “constantly keep coming back” just to be able to live your life, which is different for everyone and will be a customized length of time for your body and lifestyle. Please note that a lot of keeping those maintenance treatments infrequent is doing your part at home. I will give you lots of support in finding the home care that keeps you well, but you’ve got to do your part, too, in being committed to your practices.
